R.G. Saraiya Overseas Training in Plastic Surgery - One
Corpus donated by Dr. Pratap R. Saraiya and Seth Purshottamdas Thakurdas and Divalibhai Charitable Trust.
Eligibility: A full member within 1 C years of passing MCh. To visit a centre of international repute for a period of 4 weeks at least. Due weightage to be given to the prestige of the centre that has accepted the candidate and the period of training.
Myovatec Training Fellowship in Plastic Surgery - One
Corpus of Rs 125,000/- donated by Myovatec Surgical Systems Itd in 2001. 80 percent of interest to be awarded as fellowship amount and the balance to be added to the corpus.
Brig. Kathpalia's Fellowship in Hand Surgery - One
Corpus of Rs 100,000/- donated by Mrs. Kathpalia w/o Late Brig. P.M. Kathpalia, Past President of APSI, in year 2000.
APSI sponsorship for PG's to attend APSICON (Total amount Rs 10000/- )
Application from PG Trainees to attend APSICON should include acceptance letter for their presentation, a short CV and a forwarding letter from HOD.
For all Fellowships etc. applications along with a short CV should reach the Secretary, APSI by 31st July, of the year, in triplicate. The Training fellowships are for a period of 4.6 weeks training; Applicants should submit their applications with the approval of the Consultants under whom they wish to train. Successful applicants are required to maintain a daily diary during the period and obtain a certificate of attendance from the Consultant.
